Professional career

• For more than a decade Mr. Marcin Boruc has focused his practice on representing business clients in high-profile (often of a very unique character) litigation, arbitration, criminal and administrative proceedings and settlement processes (negotiations and mediations). Additionally, he has served as a mediator (for the last several years he has co-operated with „Mediatorzy.pl” mediation center handling mainly business disputes) and as an arbitrator.
• 2001 to present Altheimer & Gray and Chadbourne & Parke Warsaw Offices (current position: European Counsel, Dispute Resolution Department)
• 1994 – 2001 Running own law office and working for local law firms: „Prokurent”, „Bracia Strzelczyk i Wspólnicy” and „Bentkowski Chałas Wysocki”

Arbitration experience

• Represented clients in numerous arbitration cases, mostly before the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw;
• Served as presiding arbitrator in proceedings before the Lewiatan Court of Arbitration;
• Served as juror-arbitrator in arbitration moot competitions including Willem C. Vis International  Arbitration Moot (Warsaw pre-moot , 2009) and Frankfurt International  Arbitration Moot (Warsaw pre-moot, 2011);
• Numerous arbitration conferences, workshops and events including ICCA congress in Dublin (2008) and participation in establishment of Rules of the Lewiatan Court of Arbitration (2004 – 2005).

• Arbiter i współtwórca Sądu Arbitrażowego Lewiatan;
• Mediator centrum mediacyjnego Mediatorzy.pl oraz Centrum Mediacji Lewiatan;
