His area of expertise in Rymarz Zdort (which until 1 January 2020 operated as a local branch of Weil, Gotshal & Manges) includes: representing clients from various sectors in domestic and international arbitration (including ICC, VIAC, LCIA), litigations, corporate disputes and administrative proceedings. He frequently advises transactional teams in relation to contentious issues. Kamil also helps clients with regard to infrastructure contracts — both with regard to negotiations and on-going advice.
 
Each year since 2020 Kamil Kozlowski is recommended by The Legal 500 EMEA ranking in the field of dispute resolution. In 2015, Kamil Kozlowski was named one of Poland’s „best young talents” in the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland 30 Under 30 Program, which focused on promoting the „top, brightest, most talented and promising young professionals” in the country.

Arbitration experience

Experience as a counsel or co-counsel in arbitral proceedings:
 
  1. representing an international real estate holding in arbitration under the arbitration rules of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw (value of claim exceeding PLN 20 mln),
  2. representing a leading Polish company providing specialised solutions to power generation, heat generation as well as oil and gas sectors in international arbitration under the Vienna Rules (VIAC),
  3. representing one of the biggest companies in the food products segment in CEE in arbitration under the SCC Rules against a Russian entity,
  4. representing a private equity investor in arbitration under the arbitration rules of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw (value of claim exceeding PLN 12 mln),
  5. representing a real estate investment fund in a domestic arbitration regarding the violation of representation and warranties in a share purchase agreement.
Kamil acted as an advisor and member of the team representing a leading Polish chemical company in ICC arbitration against Air Products (value of claim app. USD 98 mln).
 
Kamil represented a leading produce/ of mineral water in expert proceedings administered by the ICC in Paris (value of claims app. PLN 45 mln).
