Professional career
- Since 2013, as Vice President, Legal & PR Officer of CANPACK S.A. Małgorzata Podrecka is responsible for legal, compliance, sustainability, communication, public relations and CSR. In the past, as the head of legal department she was actively participating in negotiations of long term multi parties procurement and sales contracts, joint venture agreements as well as mergers and acquisitions (e.g. in France and Slovakia).
- Since 90ties Małgorzata was participating in international growth projects of CANPACK. Her experience includes legal advice in the realization of investments in Ukraine, Romania, Great Britain, Russia, India, Morocco and the United Arab Emirates. In 2006 she was in charge of negotiating and signing the joint venture agreement with Dubai Investment Park, the future location of CANPACK’s manufacturing facility, successfully operating until today. Similarly, in the years 2009-2011 she was responsible for legal side and negotiations of the joint venture agreement in Morocco and ultimately for taking over the ownership of the company. Currently she is the member of Poland-UAE Joint Business Council, where she co-leads the industry group.
- Since 2019 she is the member of the Enterpreneurship Council, and since 2024 of the National Development Council, the advisory body to the President of the Republic of Poland.
- Since 2021 she is the nominee of the President of the Republic of Poland and the Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the SPV established to rebuild the Saxon Palace, a landmark of Warsaw before the WWII. In the same year she joined the Civic Committee for the Restoration of Cracow Heritage.
Arbitration Experience
- Attorney in several proceedings in front of the arbitration court.
- Advisor for the plaintiff in the international investment arbitration against one of the Central European countries.
- Vice President of the Lewiatan Court of Arbitration (2011-2017).
- Co-author of the commentary to the Rules of the Lewiatan Court of Arbitration.
