Professional career
Currently, he runs an individual legal advisor and patent attorney practice within the law firm of Dr Arkadiusz Michalak Law Firm of Commercial Law and Intellectual Property. He gained his professional experience in the legal department of Philip Morris Polska S.A. Sołtysiński, Kawecki & Szlęzak and Synthos S.A., one of the largest chemical companies in Poland, listed on the stock exchange (WIG 20), where Dr. Michalak held the position of Director of the Legal Department. Founder and lecturer of the H. Grotius Center for Intellectual Property Rights. He also conducts classes on the Patent’s Attorney traineeship. He also lectured on copyright law at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Member of the Board of Reviewers of Monitor Prawniczy (C.H. Beck). Expert in criminal proceedings in the field of copyright and trademark infringement.

Judge of the Disciplinary Court of Appeal of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys.
