Professional career

Since 1972 he has been a scientific worker researcher at the Jagiellonian University, currently in the Department of Intellectual Property Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University. In 1992 he was awarded the title of professor of law. From 2011 to 2014 he was the Chairman of the Copyright Committee., Currently also: arbiter of the Court of Arbitration for Internet Domains, a member of the Legal Committee of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a partner in the law firm of Markiewicz, Sroczyński, Mioduszewski. Member of the Editorial Committee of the „Private Law Quarterly”, „Glosa” and „Commercial Law Review”, „Works on Intellectual Property Law, ZN UJ”.
